I got into cycling summer of 2002. I followed the Tour de France that year, it looked like something fun to do so I started racing bikes. It’s been a fun journey that’s taken me all over the world. In August of 2012 I started coaching cyclists. Coaching has helped me learn more about training, and it has helped me raise my own level. However, there isn't much that can top the feeling of helping my athletes make gains and get results.
My wife Sara and I (along with our two pugs) call Greenville, SC home, but my hometown is Belleview, FL. I think Greenville is the best place in the world to live and to rides bikes. We have amazing country roads, and climbs ranging from 10 minutes to 30 minutes all within an hour from my house. The town itself is beautiful, has a ton of great restaurants and (more importantly) coffee shops, also the weather is never unbearably cold. Off the bike I enjoy eating healthy food and sharing awesome cups of boutique coffee with Sara.
